TRAVEL OPTIONS:  Alexandria is home to a wide array of lodging choices as well as a variety of dining options.  Please email us at sugarmillmusicfestival@gmail.com if you require assistance with your travel planning.  We know some good places to stay.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS: From Interstate 49, please take Exit 80, turning south on Highway 71.  After 3.5 miles, turn left at Old Baton Rouge Highway, then right in one  mile at Rosalie Road.  The Festival will be found approximately one-half mile down Rosalie Road.  If using a GPS device, use "86 Rosalie Road, Alexandria, LA 71302" as your destination.

TICKETING: Your Festival Pass will provide you entry to the Festival grounds for eight formal, full-length performances, a variety of scholarly activities, our Mediation Labyrinth, the Sugarmill Café directed by Chef Jay Kohler, and our Artists and Vendors area.  Simply present yourself at the Entry Booth, where your name will be listed and your Festival Pass will be distributed to you.

TICKET AVAILABILITY ON SITE: Three-Day Festival Passes, One Day Passes and Single Concerts Tickets will be available on site.  Credit Cards are preferred.  Cash will also be accepted.

TIP:  Relax.  Slow down. Clear your mind of your concerns. Our Festival site is small.

You will park within 100 feet or so of the music.  The surroundings are quiet and beautiful.

There will only be a few hundred people, so no crowd issues. Everyone will be friendly.

Come enjoy extraordinary music in a pastoral setting.  Worth every penny.

CHILDREN: Children 17 years and younger are admitted free, with a parent or another responsible adult.  We encourage all children to be supervised so as not to disrupt the performances and general ambience.   Unsupervised children will be captured in nets and transported to the neighboring pasture to have a first-hand educational experience with the bulls.

PARKING AND DROPOFF: Law officers will direct all traffic.  Free off-road parking will be available in a field adjacent to the Festival site.   Drop-offs will be allowed for guests requiring assistance.   Please do not block the roads.  Have a flashlight on you if are staying until after dark -- it really is dark.

TOBACCO USE: The use of tobacco in any form is prohibited anywhere on the Festival grounds, as are electronic cigarettes and similar devices.

SECURITY: We anticipate that all guests will be friendly, lawful and well-mannered.  Law officers will be onsite if needed.  The Festival is not responsible for loss resulting from illegal activity.
